Harford District Fall Camporee (Webelos/AOL only)

The Harford District is hosting a Fall Camporee at Camp Oest Oct 12-14th.  The theme this year is “Building Leadership” and this event is for all Webelos, AOL and Boy Scout age groups. The Pack will be subsidizing the cost of this event for all Webelos scouts (Jr. Webelos and AOL dens) and their parents.  You have the choice of attending the day event only, camping one night, or camping both nights.  We will have campsite “Navajo Canyon” which is the same site we’ve had the last two years at the Spring Camporee.

Sign-up and Payment is due by Tuesday, Oct 2nd  so that we have time to report our final head count to the District.

Cost for scouts is $5.00 per night.  Cost for adults is $10.00/night.  This covers campsite, meals, and day event fee.  Note that if you only plan to attend the Saturday day events – you can do so however the cost is $5/scout and $5/adult and lunch will be provided at the campsite.  

There will be games throughout the day.  Examples of some activities will be:  orienteering, physical fitness, knot tying, teamwork, first aid.  Our Webelos Dens (Jr. Webelos & AOL) will be camping together at this event and we will be cooking our own food.  This is a great opportunity for the older scouts to experience the outdoors together and work toward their specific achievements as well as learn from and interact with Boy Scouts during the activities.
