Camping/Service Project – Steppingstone Museum

Join members of Pack 802 in our final summer camping trip for 2017. We will be camping at the Steppingstone Farm Museum located adjacent to Susquehanna State Park. Campers can arrive at Steppingstone after 5:00 pm on Saturday. The Pack will be providing dinner and an outdoor movie on Saturday evening and breakfast on Sunday morning. Additionally, the Pack will be participating in a service project on Sunday morning to restore and repaint the pallet maze. Additional details for this event follow:
Cost:
Scouts = $5
Parents & Siblings over 6 years old = $10
Siblings 6 and under = $5
Food (Dinner Saturday, Breakfast Sunday) will be provided by the Pack.
Dinner Menu: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Hot Dogs, Fresh Fruit Salad, Green Salad
Breakfast Menu: Eggs & Sausage, Pancakes, Oatmeal, Cereal, Fruit
Drinks: Milk, OJ, Coffee, Water, Drink Mix
What to Bring:
Tent, ground cloth, sleeping bags/bedding
Rain gear if needed (It’s Maryland!), no scout uniforms (only Pack t-shirt if desired)
Water bottle (will be used to refill with water/drinks during trip rather than single serve cups)
Camp Chairs to sit around campfire and for viewing outdoor movie
Flashlights
Garden gloves for service project
Old clothes that can get paint on them for service project
Activities:
Saturday Night: Set up camp, dinner, outdoor movie, campfire
Sunday: Breakfast, Community Service project, optional hike if enough leaders/scouts are interested
