Our newest Arrow of Light Scouts will be crossing over to Scouts BSA on Friday, 19 March 2021 but decided to complete one more event together before moving on to their respective troops. For their final Pack 802 event, the Fire Starter patrol has decided to complete a 10+ mile hike that follows a portion of the Mason Dixon Trail and the Deer Creek Trail within Susquehanna State Park. We will begin the hike at the Glen Cove Marina at 0830 and hope to arrive at the Lapidum boat launch by approximately 1300. Hikers are encouraged to be dropped off at the start to minimize the amount of shuttling required after the hike. Additionally, we will have at least one driver that will be available to pick up a scout along the route if needed.
Our Webelos scouts that are up for the challenge are welcome to join the outgoing AOL scouts on this adventure.
