SUMMARY:Hike/Geocache - Susquehanna State Park
DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 802 for an evening hike in Susquehanna State Park along the Ivy Branch (Orange) trail.  We will meet at the parking area near the mill and walk up Rock Run Road to meet the trail head at the intersection of Rock Run and Wilkinson Rd.  During the hike we will be making a stop at the Pack 802 Geocache so be sure to bring an item if you would like to swap.  We will return to the parking area by approximately 7:30 pm.  The Susquehanna State park closes at dusk. \nAdditional information about the Geocache can be found here \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Camping/Service Project - Steppingstone Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join members of Pack 802 in our final summer camping trip for 2017.  We will be camping at the Steppingstone Farm Museum located adjacent to Susquehanna State Park.  Campers can arrive at Steppingstone after 5:00 pm on Saturday.  The Pack will be providing dinner and an outdoor movie on Saturday evening and breakfast on Sunday morning.  Additionally\, the Pack will be participating in a service project on Sunday morning to restore and repaint the pallet maze.  Additional details for this event follow: \n\nCost:\n    Scouts = $5\n    Parents & Siblings over 6 years old = $10\n    Siblings 6 and under = $5\n\n\nFood (Dinner Saturday\, Breakfast Sunday) will be provided by the Pack.\n    Dinner Menu:  Spaghetti & Meatballs\, Hot Dogs\, Fresh Fruit Salad\, Green Salad\n    Breakfast Menu:  Eggs & Sausage\, Pancakes\, Oatmeal\, Cereal\, Fruit\n    Drinks:  Milk\, OJ\, Coffee\, Water\, Drink Mix\n\nWhat to Bring:\n    Tent\, ground cloth\, sleeping bags/bedding\n    Rain gear if needed (It’s Maryland!)\, no scout uniforms (only Pack t-shirt if desired)\n    Water bottle (will be used to refill with water/drinks during trip rather than single serve cups)\n    Camp Chairs to sit around campfire and for viewing outdoor movie\n    Flashlights\n    Garden gloves for service project\n    Old clothes that can get paint on them for service project\n\nActivities:\n    Saturday Night:  Set up camp\, dinner\, outdoor movie\, campfire\n    Sunday:  Breakfast\, Community Service project\, optional hike if enough leaders/scouts are interested\n\nCommunity Service Project Sunday Morning (on Steppingstone’s grounds)\n    Light sanding and then painting wood pallets used for their pallet maze\n    Weeding around pallet maze area

SUMMARY:C&O Canal - Camp and Bike\, Hancock\, MD
DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 802 and Troop 802 on this combined Cub Scout/Boy Scout camping trip.  We will be camping at Little Orleans Campground on Friday and Saturday night and will be cycling a 10 mile portion of the Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) canal trail from Little Orleans to Hancock\, MD on Saturday.  All scouts that participate in this event will be eligible to receive a C&O Canal Patch under the C&O Canal Historic Trail Program. \nAdditional information about the Historic Trail Program can be found on the Mason-Dixon council website below: \nhttp://www.mason-dixon-bsa.org/activities/historic-trails-program/20525

SUMMARY:Hike - Rocks State Park (Falling Branch) Kilgore Falls
DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 802 as we kickoff our summer program with a hike to Kilgore Falls.  This short 1/2 mile hike leads to a 17-foot high waterfall located within the Falling Branch section of Rocks State Park.  There are opportunities to swim/wade in the stream below the falls so feel free to bring water shoes\, a towel\, and change of clothes.  Parking is limited to 28 spaces so carpooling is encouraged.  Scouts should wear class B uniform (Pack T-shirt).
